DFS Orders Mortgage Lending Company to Pay $600K in Restitution
As part of a consent order, a mortgage lending company marketing to veterans has been ordered by the state Department of Financial Services to pay more than $600,000 in restitution to New York customers and pay a fine over closing costs.
