    It‘s time for Americans and their scheming lawyers to acknowledge the truth that they deny with virtually every lawsuit against a nursing home: We put our aging or otherwise burdensome loved ones in such facilities because we wish them dead but don‘t want to be the ones to kill them. We effectively pay someone else to do our dirty work, and then some of us have the hypocritical audacity to sue when the work is done.
