Sports Gambler's Lawyers Say Insider-Trading Charges Are 'Lies'
A prosecutor told a federal jury Wednesday that the government has the goods on professional gambler William "Billy" Walters for insider trading. But Walters' attorney, Kramer Levin's Barry Berke, said the star witness against his client, worried about his own possible prosecution after stealing from a charity for battered women, made up the story.
