2014-2030 N CR. THE PEOPLE, res, v. PERICLES LINARDOS, app — Appeal from a judgment of the Justice Court of the Village of Muttontown, Nassau County (Stuart Mass, J.), rendered August 4, 2014. The judgment convicted defendant, after a nonjury trial, of seven counts of permitting the cutting of an oak tree with a caliber of more than seven inches in the Village of Muttontown without a permit. The appeal from the judgment of conviction brings up for review so much of an order of the same court dated August 4, 2014 as denied, without a hearing, defendant's motion to dismiss the accusatory instrument on statutory speedy trial grounds.
