CCC Information Services Group Inc. has agreed to be acquired by Investcorp in the fourth quarter of 2005 for $495 million, pending approval by CCC's stockholders. Also, NYMEX Holdings, Inc., the owner of The New York Mercantile Exchange, has signed a non-binding letter of intent with General Atlantic LLC. The letter stated that General Atlantic would invest $135 million in order to obtain a 10 percent equity stake in NYMEX. The deal would give NYMEX a post-investment value of $1.35 billion.
