The New York City Bar Association has rated Neil Gorsuch, President Donald Trump's pick for the U.S. Supreme Court, as "qualified" for the position, citing his intellectual ability, motivation to build consensus and "unquestionable integrity and independence," among other attributes.

    Gee, what a surprise that he only received a "qualified" rating instead of highly qualified by the City Bar Association. Probably a reason I‘m not a member. I doubt that any judicial nominee nominated by a Republican president has ever received a "highly qualified" rating from the City Bar Association! And I probably doubt that any judicial nominee nominated by a Democratic President has received any other rating other than "highly qualified".
