Several state court administrators at a forum Tuesday indicated their willingness to compromise on parts of a mandatory pro bono disclosure rule, surprising a cohort of the bar who has protested the rule for the past year.

    Access to justice is the province of all of society and in no way should any one occupation or class of people be singled out for doing the heavy lifting of funding or providing legal services.

    This "reporting" kerfuffle is more hand-wringing from justices and white shoe lawyers trying to pad their legacy at the expense of those not similarly situated.
