Hector Xavier Monsegur, who pleaded to cyberattacks on Visa, Mastercard and PayPal for refusing to process donations to Wikileaks as part of the collective "Anonymous," among other allegations, helped the government thwart hundreds of attacks since his arrest, Southern District Chief Judge Loretta Preska said in announcing his sentence.
