Party Seeks Ramos' Recusal in Horace Mann Suit
Insurers who have refused to indemnify Horace Mann School for a $1.05 million settlement of sexual abuse claims by former students have asked Justice Charles Ramos to recuse himself from the dispute, saying that his status as an alumnus "casts doubt" on his impartiality.
