The New York City Bar hosted the Ninth Annual Thomas E. Dewey Medal ceremony on Thursday at its 44th Street headquarters. The awards are given to one “outstanding” assistant district attorney in each of the five boroughs as well as the Office of Special Narcotics Prosecutor. This year’s winners are, first row, from left, Nicole Keary, ADA, the Bronx; Joan Gabbidon, senior deputy D.A., Brooklyn; Nitin Savur, deputy chief, trial division, Manhattan; Jessica Melton, senior ADA, Queens; Joseph Tesoriero, ADA, Special Narcotics; and Mark Palladino, deputy chief, investigations, Staten Island. With them are, back row, from left, Thomas Dewey, a partner at Dewey Pegno & Kramarsky who chairs the medal committee; Lanny Breuer, vice chair at Covington & Burling who served as keynote speaker; and Carey Dunne, city bar president and a partner at Davis Polk & Wardwell.
