In their Government and Election Law column, Jerry H. Goldfeder, special counsel at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan, and Myrna Pérez, deputy director of the Democracy Program at the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law, write that the new Moreland commission starts out with a distinct advantage over prior panels. I may be wrong but wasn't that $500,000,00 loan made to Eliot Spitzer by his father? If this is true then why didn't the authors identify the case?

The Moreland Commission is a joke. Andrew Cuomo has more than $20 million in his war chest so why would he be worried?
