"Frankly, I think this particular person would be dangerous to keep as an officer," said Justice Thomas Raffaele, who said he was attacked by a police officer early Friday morning. "He should not have a gun and should not be in a position to hurt people."

    Wow, surprisingly it may seem even a Judge may not receive the rightful justice. I am also a victim of aggravated assault by a police officer. It happened to me in Glendale, AZ during 2008. There is something we can do to earn justice...

    I disagree with the judge re: how often this happens. I believe it is very common, & this officer was unlucky enough to be witnessed by a judge who can get a story in the law journal. I was a member of a crowd who witnessed police brutality in a subway station, before I became a lawyer. Many of us tried to complain and get shield numbers, but the police response? The called the K-9 unit on us. I filed a complaint with the Civilian Complaint Review Board, but never even heard back from them.
