"Under the plea agreement discussed in court, prosecutors will not ask for any sentencing within the guidelines and instead seek an unspecified period of incarceration. Meanwhile, Weisberg will not appeal his sentence if it is below 97 months. Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 14. He faces a maximum of 15 years in prison." How would he face 15 yrs in prison if the prosecutors are not asking for sentencing? The two Israeli investors should be arrested too because they were part of the plot. How anyone not question enormous investment returns are in on the scam--How the Madoff investors did question a 25% return per dollar investment are not stupid, they are part of Madoff's criminality. Sentencing should be to the fullest, these people destroyed lives. I'm surprise no one has charged them with man-slaugther or hit them with civil wrongful death suits for people who committed suicide because of financial ruins of these selfish greedy people. In addition, they should go after corporations with the full range of civil suits since corporations are considered "persons" they should be subjected to all laws applicable to any person who did harm.
