A defendant's conviction of four murders during warfare between rival drug gangs in the Bronx will stand after a federal appeals court ruled his confessions were properly admitted at trial.

    It has been my understanding that once a suspect invokes his right to speak that can only be changed once a lawyer agrees to revoke that right. The question is: What did NO encompass when he uttered the word NO? Did it also mean he wouldn‘t speak to them without an attorney present?
