State legislators and prosecutors are rushing to restore part of the state's criminal harassment statute that was frequently used in domestic violence cases before the Court of Appeals declared it unconstitutional this month.

    What fair and just society allows such catch all "I know it when I see it" blanket statutes designed for the expediency of prosecutors rather than fair notice and certitude to the general population about what is prohibited.
