    This case has nothing to do with safety of guests. It‘s all about money. After raping the hotel industry and, in the end, the guests, with insane hotel taxes, now the city‘s salivating over the chance to get the same from citizens who rent out their homes.

    Try this: no tax or law should last more than ten years (sunset) and then have to be publicly be voted on again after real notice to all (not buried in the Irish Echo). The politicians will still grab all that they can, but every decade, it can be fought.
