Former Family Court Judge Stella Schindler moderates a program last week organized by the nonprofit FamilyKind on "The Children's Voice in Law: A Conversation with Carol Bellamy and Colleagues."

Panelists are, from left, Brian Zimmerman, an attorney for children in private practice; Wendy Wylegala, supervising attorney for Pro Bono Programs in the New York City Office of Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), and Bellamy, former president of the City Council and executive director of Unicef.

FamilyKind offers education and support services to adults and children experiencing divorce or separation, with a particular focus on finding the voices of children involved in the proceedings. LexisNexis cosponsored the event.
