Judge Rejects Bid to Halt New Gun Control Measure

Supreme Court Justice Thomas McNamara yesterday refused to issue a preliminary injunction in a suit claiming that adoption of the Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act was invalid because it was voted on under a message of necessity by the governor.
