Penguin Loses Bid to Halt Free Posting of Its Books

Two years after Penguin Corporation won an appellate ruling that was supposed to help book publishers combat online piracy, it has had its case against American Buddha dismissed, because the nonprofit's revenue wasn't substantial enough for New York to assert jurisdiction over the plaintiff.
