A lender that financed the film "Escape From Planet Earth" has been dismissed from a lawsuit brought by writer-director Tony Leech, who alleges that producers Robert and Harvey Weinstein secured the lender's financing with profits they had already pledged to Leech and his business partner Brian Inerfeld.
