Tax Deduction Bid Is Revived in Collapse of Retaining Wall

Shareholders in a Washington Heights co-op complex who had to help pay for the repair of a retaining wall that collapsed onto the Henry Hudson Parkway may be entitled to a tax deduction, a unanimous federal appeals court ruled yesterday, reversing a Tax Court judge.
