Amici Urge Martin Act Claims Against Greenberg Be Dismissed

Ten prominent public figures, including a former U.S. attorney general and a former commissioner of the SEC, have urged the Court of Appeals to throw out Martin Act claims against former American International Group CEO Maurice "Hank" Greenberg, arguing that the state law is preempted by federal statute.
