• Mishcon de Reya had added Kenneth Aldous as a partner in the dispute resolution department. He joined the firm from a firm he founded, Aldous PLLC.

• Herrick, Feinstein has added Gary Schoenbrun as a partner and the newly appointed cochair of the tax and personal planning group. He joins from Dickstein Shapiro, where he was a partner.

• Reed Smith has appointed Yvan-Claude Pierre as chair of the U.S. capital markets group. In the newly created role, Pierre will lead the firm's U.S. capital markets initiatives and work with the European and Asian capital markets groups. He will lead a team of about 125 attorneys.

• Cohen & Perfetto has promoted to partner Matia Nikolovienis, commercial real estate law.

• Nixon Peabody has elected to its partnership Kristen Mollnow Walsh, intellectual property, Rochester; Jim Montes, public finance, Manhattan and Long Island; Vincent Polsinelli, labor and employment, Albany; and Michael Schnipper, global business and health services, Long Island.
