Accusations, Conflict, Inadequate Notice Stall Class Settlement

Eastern District Judge Arthur Spatt has refused to grant preliminary approval of an $87,900 settlement in a Fair Debt Collection Practices Act class action and ordered solo practitioner Robert Arleo to withdraw from the defense over his work with plaintiff's attorney William Horn in other cases.
