• Joseph Forte has joined DLA Piper as a real estate partner focusing on real estate finance and the origination, workout and enforcement of portfolio and securitized mortgage loans. He was a partner in the global finance and debt products group at Alston & Bird.

• McDermott Will & Emery has added Robert Cohen as a partner in the corporate practice. He was a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig,

• Thompson Hine has elected Rebecca Brazzano, business litigation, to the partnership.

• Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts has appointed Kathryn Wagner as its new executive director. She had been named the group's interim executive director in July. The appointment follows a four-month executive search conducted by the group's board of directors.
