Hormel Foods Corporation, maker of Spam canned meat, will pay $700 million to buy the Skippy peanut butter business of Unilever. Also, Al Jazeera Media Network has bought Current TV, the network cofounded by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, for $500 million.
