• Glen McGorty, a senior assistant U.S. attorney in the Southern District, has joined Crowell & Moring as a partner in the white collar and regulatory enforcement group.

• Carlton Fields has hired Oleg Rivkin and V. David Rivkin as shareholders in the business litigation and trade regulation group. David focuses on cross-border disputes involving licensing of technology, copyright and trademark infringement, theft of trade secrets and other IP matters. Oleg concentrates on international litigation and arbitration involving corporate, commercial and other business disputes. The brothers were partners at Fox Horan & Camerini.

• Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler has elected three New York attorneys to the partnership: Michelle Cohen, litigation; James Murdica, litigation; and Harry Sandick, white collar defense and investigations team. Also, Jean Tom, tax-exempt organizations group, has been named counsel.

• Davidoff Hutcher & Citron has promoted associate Robert Lewis, matrimonial, family and art law, to senior counsel.

• Locke Lord has promoted to partner Peter Fallon, intellectual property litigation and pharmaceutical and biotechnology, and Casey Howard, business litigation and dispute resolution and bankruptcy, restructuring and insolvency.

• Sutherland Asbill & Brennan litigation partner Robert Owen has been named to the Georgetown Law Advanced eDiscovery Institute advisory board.

• Jaspan Schlesinger partner Lawrence Tenenbaum has been elected to the board of trustees of the Cradle of Aviation Museum.

• Georgia Pestana, chief of the Labor and Employment Division in the New York City Law Department, has been made a member of the office's executive staff, assuming the title of Executive Assistant Corporation Counsel for Employment and Policy Litigation.
