• Troutman Sanders has added Jeffrey Rosenstein as a partner and Kenneth O'Reilly as of counsel in its construction practice group. Rosenstein, formerly a partner at Winston & Strawn, advises on construction projects, including contract negotiation and drafting, counseling during construction, and the resolution of project disputes. O'Reilly, who also comes from Winston & Strawn, focuses on construction, infrastructure, and engineering matters.

• Katten Muchin Rosenman has added David Dickstein as a partner in the financial services practice providing counsel to hedge funds, investment companies, investment advisors and broker-dealers on regulatory, compliance and operational issues. He was a partner at K&L Gates.

• Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo has named Adam Gale, the former head of Chadbourne & Parke's hedge fund practice group, as a member in the corporate and securities section. He represents U.S. and international funds and their sponsors in activities from initial structuring and formation through the fundraising stage and beyond.

• Lehman Brothers Holdings has hired Matthew Cantor as executive vice president of legal affairs and chief general counsel. He will head the legal department, coordinate the company's legal functions and oversee all litigation matters. Most recently, Cantor was a founding principal of Normandy Hill Capital, an investment manager focusing on distressed, event-driven credit and special situations.

• Jeffery Becherer has been appointed assistant dean for career planning at New York Law School. He was associate director of the Office of Career Services at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
