A creditor's attack on an elderly upstate woman's bankruptcy petition as fraudulent is "so baseless in law" that it shocks the court's conscience, according to a Western District bankruptcy court judge who also suggested that if any fraud occurred it may have been orchestrated by the creditor and not the debtor.
