Tort Reform Advocates Bemoan Trial Lawyer Influence in Albany

The Lawsuit Reform Alliance of New York said yesterday that the deep pockets of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the New York Academy of Trial Lawyers are an obstacle to its efforts in opposing the state's "scaffold" law and other statutes it contends drive up the expense of doing business in New York through high litigation costs.
