Therapy Dog's Use at Trial Is Challenged

Since most people like dogs, a defense attorney argued on Dec. 7 before a Brooklyn appellate court, the prosecution had an unfair advantage in a trial where a 15-year-old sexual assault victim testified with a therapy dog named Rosie sitting by her side and comforting her as the stress ratcheted up.
