Judge Judy Harris Kluger (See Profile), chief of policy and planning for the state courts and chair of the Statewide Foreclosure Committee, said a goal for the next year is to continue expanding the availability of legal services to homeowners facing the loss of their home.
"We are very pleased with the increase in the number of homeowners represented, and that is due to the increase in civil legal services by the chief judge as well as our work with the different organizations around the state to ensure that as many homeowners as possible get representation," Kluger said in an interview. "We will continue to make every effort to increase funding to civil legal service providers."
