State's Long Arm Stretches to Take Jurisdiction in Suit by Wash. Business Against Minnesotan

Northern District Judge David Hurd has ruled that while neither the plaintiff nor the defendant in a patent infringement suit have a physical presence in New York, a contract the defendant sought in Rensselaer County is sufficient to establish the court's jurisdiction.
