Claire Kelly
Brooklyn Law School professor Claire Kelly has been nominated by the White House for an opening on the Manhattan-based U.S. Court of International Trade. Kelly, who teaches courses on international trade law, international business law and administrative law, is codirector of the law school's Dennis J. Block Center for the Study of International Business Law. She also serves on the board of directors of the Customs and International Trade Bar Association and chairs its subcommittee on trade adjustment assistance.
Before joining Brooklyn Law in 1997, Kelly was an associate at Coudert Brothers in New York City for four years. She earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law in 1993 and her B.A. from Barnard College in 1987.
