Lawyers Share $252,000 in Fees as Ex-Guard Prevails in Bias Suit

Northern District Judge Glenn Suddaby rejected the reasoning of attorneys for the state that since a jury only returned a favorable verdict for the plaintiff in one of eight claims, her attorney should receive only one-eighth of the $286,176 in requested fees.
