More than 40 members of the section's executive committee unanimously approved the resolution, designed to quell a controversy that began when its chairman accused prosecutors of intentionally instructing their assistants to conceal Brady material from the defense, during a Sept. 13 meeting. The eight prosecutors on the committee abstained.
