Mamdouh Mahmud Salim had alleged that the waiver of his right to attend his resentencing was not voluntary as he feared retaliation for his vicious attack on a corrections officer, and while the circuit agreed he had not waived his right to be physically present, the error was not enough to prejudice Salim.
