'Strong Evidence' of Negligence But No Legal Malpractice Found

Although Howard Stern's former clients failed to show that his performance cost them a $5.1 million tax break, a First Department panel faulted the White Plains attorney for representing them in the $10.2 million sale of 496 Broadway despite telling them he was not qualified to handle the tax arrangement they had in mind.
