A lifetime achievement award for public service was given to Albany attorney John R. Dunne by the Correctional Association of New York, while three attorneys from Phillips Nizer received this year's Legal Advocacy Award from Manhattan Legal Services for their ongoing pro bono representation of the remaining low-income tenants of two single-room occupancy residences for women.
