Monroe County Lab Faulted After Evidence Is Destroyed

Acting State Inspector General Catherine Leahy Scott said yesterday the Monroe County Public Safety Laboratory, having determined 270 cases were past the statute of limitations, incorrectly in at least 41 of those cases, returned evidence to police, some of which was subsequently destroyed.
